What Engage actually does, and how it fits an existing HR stack.

What is Elements Engage?+
Engage is the engagement and culture intelligence platform for HR leaders. It brings three things into one subscription: a structured Culture Audit for periodic deep-dives, an always-on Culture Compass that keeps a live read on engagement, and a library of action plans, workshop kits and comms templates you can run with your team next week.
Who is Engage built for?+
Heads of People, HR Directors and People & Culture leads. It is a management tool — not another inbox app for every employee. Your team answers short diagnostics; you get the cockpit that turns those responses into a defensible plan you can present at the next exec meeting.
How is Engage different from a traditional engagement survey tool?+
Traditional survey tools hand you a report and leave you to work out what to do next. Engage closes the loop — every finding is matched to a workshop kit, comms template or event playbook, so the gap between “we have a problem with leadership communication” and “we have a 30-day plan to move it” is a couple of clicks, not a consulting project.
What’s the difference between Culture Audit and Culture Compass?+
Culture Audit is a one-off, structured deep-dive — the right tool for “we need a defensible baseline before the board meeting”. Culture Compass is continuous — a lightweight, always-on pulse that flags drift on engagement, leadership and communication between audits. Most customers run a Culture Audit quarterly and leave Culture Compass on permanently.
Can we integrate Engage with our HRIS or Slack?+
Not yet, but it’s on the roadmap. For launch we’re deliberately staying focused on being the best cockpit for HR leaders; SSO, SCIM provisioning from your HRIS, and Slack/Teams nudges are the next integrations we’ll ship. Where your data lives, who can see it, and what we’ve built in by default.

Where is our data stored?+
All customer data is hosted in the EU (Ireland). We use Supabase for the database, auth and storage, and Vercel for application hosting — both with EU data residency selected. Data never leaves the EU/EEA without appropriate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses).
How does access control work?+
Every query is gated by row-level security at the database — a user can only read the rows they are entitled to, enforced by Postgres before the data ever leaves the database. In addition to that, we ship role-based permissions inside the app (org admin, HR partner, member). On Enterprise, SSO and SCIM provisioning tighten the loop further.
Is Engage GDPR-ready?+
Yes. Engage is built for GDPR from day one — data processing agreements with every subprocessor, a documented lawful basis per data category, and self-service data access, export and erasure from every user’s account page. Our privacy policy spells out the detail.
Can individual employees see other people’s responses?+
No. Individual employee responses are only ever aggregated — the cockpit shows organisation-wide mixes and scores, not individual answers. RLS enforces this at the database layer, not just in the UI. Admins see aggregates; they never see “who answered what”.
What happens to our data if we cancel?+
You can export your organisation’s data at any time from the admin console. When a subscription ends we retain data for 30 days (to handle reactivations and accidental cancellations), then permanently delete it from primary storage. Backups are rotated out within a further 35 days.

What the first 30 days look like and how we help you through them.

How long does onboarding take?+
From signed contract to your first Culture Compass responses is usually under a week. Most customers go live inside 48 hours — we set up your organisation, invite your admin team, and help you launch either a Culture Audit or Culture Compass on day one.
Do we need to train our HR team to use it?+
Engage is deliberately opinionated so there is very little to learn — the cockpit walks you from measurement to action. Every Growth and Enterprise customer gets a 60-minute onboarding session where we set the first Culture Audit up live with you, and Enterprise customers keep a dedicated Culture Partner for the life of the contract.
What does support look like after rollout?+
Email support on every plan, with a reply within one working day. Growth adds priority support (four-hour replies during Irish business hours). Enterprise adds a dedicated Culture Partner who joins your quarterly programme reviews.
Can the Elements team run a workshop for us?+
Yes. Every Culture Audit ships with an exec-ready readout; we can also co-deliver the workshops and leadership sessions that come out of it. Workshop delivery is quoted separately from the subscription — email info@elementsmarketing.ie and we’ll scope it.
